#LOokforward🌅 with linda ong
amidst the continuing litany of heartbreaking news, i try to seek out some simple pleasures in life – like a new find (a well-priced parisienne cashmere brand i found), receiving a smile-inducing gift (this upcycled, custom-printed bag), and a dear friend (lauren here). i'm making it a priority to bring sunshine into my life and the world.
the latest convos about the amber heard-johnny depp lawsuit focus on the vitriolic hate spewed at heard. it's spurring think pieces questioning the efficacy of #MeToo, along with a fear of potentially emboldening other men who've been accused.

what is ‘Type ll fun’ and why do some people want to have it?
while i do enjoy a solid relax, i really like to feel as if i've earned it. some might call this "play hard" -- but i actually find that mental challenges, of a certain sort, relax me. hiking, is one, for example, but i seem to be drawn to scenarios that are just a little more extreme than the average. why is this? apparently, i enjoy type II fun, which is perhaps why my current frontrunner ACL recovery project is getting a pilot's license.

harry’s house: harry styles (spotify)
harry styles wants to be your boyfriend, or at least win your heart for the soundtrack of the summer. and while he's clearly got eyes for olivia wilde, it's hard not to fall for the adoring words and boppy beats that will dominate his upcoming megatour. - lo
