loot (apple tv+)
SNL’s maya rudolph stars as a clueless new billionaire divorcée bent on revenge-spending while learning life lessons from her (newly discovered) foundation's staff. fun, high-end bubble gum bursting with luxury fashion, PJ's, and real estate porn.

life in pink (hulu)
machine gun kelly has no shortage of media coverage but this doc delves into his emotional interior in a deeper way which will appeal to fans. unlike most docs which show a celeb who is reflecting on past difficult times with distance, this one showcases the struggle as it unfolds. this intimacy makes the doc more compelling, especially in the second half.

black bird (apple tv+)
created by crime king dennis lehane and based on the true story (and memoir) of james keene's stint in prison, taron egerton (ROCKETMAN) is magnetic in the lead as a convicted drug dealer who cuts a deal with the FBI to befriend a serial killer and elicit his confession. great performances (including a serious greg kinnear) and riveting plot.

stranger things (netflix)
the second two episodes of the fourth season dropped 7/1 and i could not wait to see them. watching this show makes me feel like watching spielberg movies as a kid. here’s to hoping the hawkins kids prevail and we’re set up for a solid season 5!

raising raffi: keith gessen (viking)
this memoir by the N+1 cofounder is both heartbreaking and heartwarming, the first "pandemic dad-parenting" tome we're likely to see emerge from this era. it's also a fascinating tale of gessen's attempts to incorporate his russian ancestry and upbringing into his son's profoundly american world.

#AdventuresWithSarahAndShep
shep is a dog raised around motorcycles and she looooves the track. we took her to a beautiful spring track day at willow springs and she basked in the sun, relentlessly hunted for food, and lived her best life while watching eric + friends speed around during a day of epic sessions.

a few years ago, i invested in ASTER FARMS, a female-led, premium, sustainable and third-generation cannabis farm in northern california. to celebrate their expansion into new york, i hosted an "herbal gathering" and pool party. featuring luxury cannabis accessories from SACKVILLE & CO and SUMMERLAND CERAMICS, homegrowers jeff blum and mark ghuneim gave a rolling demo and cultivation chat in the cutting garden. boosted by the amazing energy of HUMBLE BLOOM’s solonje and danniel, thanks to everyone who made it a hot day with a cool vibe!
elon walked back his $44B bid for TWITTER, his impulsive move to forego due diligence blowing up into a giant case of buyer's remorse. but what about the staffers who've been upended by his financial swashbuckling?
